About Sign PDF

Add a text-based signature stamp to a PDF document. Include your name, title, or approval text with an optional date. The signature is placed at the bottom-right of the selected page.

How It Works

The tool uses pdf-lib to draw text at the bottom-right corner of a page. The signature includes your custom text and optionally the current date. A thin line is drawn above the text for a professional appearance.

Step by Step

  1. 1 Upload a PDF file
  2. 2 Enter your signature text
  3. 3 Choose whether to include the date
  4. 4 Adjust font size and select the target page
  5. 5 Click Sign and download the signed PDF

Tips

  • Page -1 means the last page (default for most signing use cases).
  • Page 1 places the signature on the first page.
  • Include date for timestamped approvals.
  • Font size 12px is standard for most documents.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a legally binding digital signature?
No. This adds a visual text stamp, not a cryptographic digital signature. For legally binding signatures, use a dedicated e-signature service.
Can I add a handwritten signature image?
Currently only text stamps are supported. Image-based signatures are planned for a future update.
